On the 23rd of July 2020, the iFACT Consortium successfully conducted its M6 Virtual Review Meeting. The meeting aimed at presenting the scientific and technical achievements performed during the first semester of the project's lifetime, to the Project Officer and the EC Reviewer and provide them with sufficient information that would afterward allow them to perform the project assessment against the applicable Description of Work.

The European Aeronautics Science Network publishes on a regular basis an electronic newsletter which is distributed to several thousands of researchers and scientists throughout Europe.

An iFACT related article has been published in the April 2020 issue, presenting the latest news and main activities of the project.

The iFACT public website has been launched constituting the main source of information about the progress, activities, news and significant results of the project. Details about the iFACT objectives, the expected impact and descriptions of the Consortium partners are also presented. The iFACT website is designed in a simple and user-friendly manner, enabling visitors to navigate easily and have quick access to all information. In addition, it will be updated on a regular basis with iFACT documents, news, events and other resources.

iFACT (iodine Fed Advanced Cusp field Thruster) H2020 project was officially launched on January 14th 2020 at the Kick-Off Meeting held on the Airbus premises in Friedrichshafen, Germany beginning its first steps towards its two year lifetime. During this event, the partners had the opportunity to assemble and discuss about the activities and interactions to be accomplished in the first months of the project. Close collaboration between the partners will continue online until the next face-to-face meeting in summer 2020.
